Wow. How long has it been since I’ve visited this little corner of the internet? Almost a year. That’s how long. Wow, wow, wow.
Amidst all the chaos of well, life with two three year old boys, I’ve admittedly neglected this space. And to be honest, I feel a little disappointed in myself that I wasn’t able to keep up with this space like my original intent (why yes, I am quite type A, thanks for asking).
Anyway, not too much has happened since my last post…in JUNE. We took a few vacations, celebrated the boys turning the big THREE, survived MANY toddler meltdowns, and ate enough Pirate Booty and Goldfish to keep both companies afloat for the next 10 years.

So, in a nutshell, not much has changed. Except! The boys are FINALLY POTTY TRAINED! What a humbling experience, let me tell ya. You know what that means? They’re starting pre-school in the fall, so I’ll have some free time.
I have always loved clothes, putting outfits together, finding a good deal, and picking up style tips. Plus, I found that getting dressed every day really helped me feel more put together as a stay at home mom.
To be honest though, I didn’t start truly getting dressed (as in jeans instead of leggings) until this last fall. One day, I was looking at my closet and had an epiphany. Here were all of these sweaters, tops, and jeans that were just sitting there because I spent the majority of my days in leggings. What was I waiting for? Why wasn’t I wearing all of these pieces of clothing that I loved?! So, the next day, I pulled out the jeans and haven’t looked back.
Anyway, I digress. Now that the world is my oyster with this newfound freedom, I’m feeling an urge to explore my creativity in that area. So here we are. Trying to “rebrand” as they say, and share my limited pearls of wisdom to encourage other moms.
Granted, I don’t have any real accreditation, except being voted, “Most Likely to Appear in a Fashion Magazine” in our high school yearbook (I still have the plaque if anyone needs the proof). However, after getting my colors analyzed, I know that I am a soft autumn, my body is an hourglass shape, I love a good deal, and easy, classic outfits.

If you started subscribing to this blog for the twin content (bless you), I haven’t ditched them, so there will still be plenty of that. But, I hope you’l still follow along (and invite your friends!), and maybe you’ll see a cute outfit or two.
